Musethica Is Hiring!

Join the Musethica Team: International Project Coordinator in Berlin

As Musethica’s international presence is expanding, we are are currently seeking a dedicated International Project Coordinator to join us in our journey.

About us

Musethica is an educational method that enables selected advanced young musicians and their tutors to improve their interpretative skills and develop their inspiration, listening, and musical abilities. Established in 2012 in Spain by viola player Avri Levitan and social economics professor Carmen Marcuello, Musethica has since expanded its activities to 13 countries, including Germany, Spain, Sweden, Israel, Austria, China, Finland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, the Netherlands, and Norway.

The Musethica method is rooted in the belief that music-making is an act of communication between musicians and audiences that cannot occur in isolation. The basis of the method is providing selected young musicians with daily performance opportunities during an intense period, accompanied by an experienced tutor. Instead of concerts being the end result of an educational process, they become an integral part of it.

Over 85% of these concerts are performed outside traditional concert halls, in settings such as refugee centers, prisons, schools, kindergartens, hospitals, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and special education institutes. Musethica has a strong and direct social impact, providing free concerts of the highest quality to excluded groups in society.

Musethica International operates as a department of the Berlin-based nonprofit organization Musethica e.V. It is responsible for international coordination within the Musethica network: 4 local Musethica organizations and 10+ partner organizations worldwide. Partner organizations include higher music education institutions, orchestra academies, and music festivals.
