More About Erdozáin
Sabina began her musical studies at the age of six, beginning to receive lessons from Gayane Abrahamyan shortly after. In June of 2007 she completed the professional degree in the Professional Conservatory of Music of Zaragoza under the supervision of Rubén Lorenzo. In 2014, she finished her studies at the High Music Conservatory from Aragon with Antonio Jesús Pérez Roy and Enrique Bagaría. Sabina has received master classes from various pianists such as Therese Diete, Ramon Coll, Josep Colom, Kaya Han, Tibor Szász, Kennedy Moretti, David Kuyjken and Christian Pohl among others. Advices from pianist Knara Gazarian have been very important in her training.
Sabina has won different awards in several competitions such as the VI National Music Competition “Vila de Salou”, I Genaro Vallejos piano competition, III International Piano Competition “Ciudad de Huesca”, XV Ibiza International Piano Competition and the Instrumental Competition Sant Anastasi celebrated in Lleida.
She has been working as supporting pianist of the violin students of Valeri Gazarian for several years. She has also been pianist of the initiation, children and youth choirs Amici Musicae of the Zaragoza Auditorium, Spain.
In June 2017 she completed the Master’s degree in Music Therapy. Currently, she combines the music education with her work as occupational therapist and music therapy at the MAZ hospital in Zaragoza.
Recently she has developed a social work participating as a teacher in the music schools “Música para Vivir” and “Música en los Barrios” in Managua and Granada (Nicaragua) through Vacaciones Artísticas Solidarias (ReDoMi).
Since 2017 Sabina has the privilege to participate in the international project Musethica, promoted and directed by Avri Levitan.
