Musethica Germany supported by the Carl Bechstein Foundation
Musethica Germany is very happy to announce the support of the Carl Bechstein Foundation at the occasion of the first Musethica Session featuring piano in Berlin in December 2023.
Making music, learning an instrument, is an important building block in personal development and makes you fit for life, because it raises your IQ, strengthens your stamina and provides lasting emotional support. And it's fun!
The Carl Bechstein Foundation was established in 2012 to emphasise and promote the importance of music in general and piano playing in particular. It wants to give as many interested, curious and talented children as possible - including those from socially deprived areas - the opportunity to learn to play the piano. The foundation provides pianos free of charge throughout Germany so that piano lessons can be given in the children's everyday environment. Particularly talented young pianists can compare their skills with those of their peers at the annual Carl Bechstein Competition. In addition, the foundation supports outstanding young pianists with special prizes, e.g. at the German or ARD music competitions.
