Lara Fernández Ponce has won seven competitions of interpretation including the 80th contest of young performers of Spain and prize Parramon to the best string instrumentalist in the 19th competition Josep Mirabent i Magrans.
Lara Fernandez Ponce studies with Avri Levitan in the Conservatory of Aragon (CSMA) and in Berlin, and previously studied with Jaime Huertas, Jensen Horn-without Lam and Elena Pochekina. In Zaragoza, she also studied with Manuel Fernández Ortiz, Kennedy Moretti and Cuarteto Quiroga. She has received scholarships from the Government of Aragon, Ibercaja and Jeunesses Musicales of Spain. She has won seven competitions of interpretation including the 80th contest of young performers of Spain and prize Parramon to the best string instrumentalist in the 19th competition Josep Mirabent i Magrans. She has received advices from Guy Ben-Ziony, Jonathan Brown, Tatjana Masurenko, Eberhart Feltz, Rainer Schmidth, Michael Vogler, Amihai Grosz, Herr Heim Taub, Wilfried Strehle, Thomas Riebl and Tabea Zimmermann. She has given concerts in Israel (Kfar Blum, YMCA Jerusalem Conservatory of Tel Aviv) Poland (classroom Florianka, Krakow), Portugal (V Congress of Violas, Chaves), Germany (Berlin International Music Festival, Clärchens Balhaus, Künstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf, HfM Hanns Eisler, Kozerthauss Berlin) and Spain (Autumn Musical in Soria, Sala Mozart, auditoriums Eduardo Pueyo, Pau Casals, Higinio Anglés, Botín Foundation, Juan March Foundation, Festival de Música y Danza de Granada, Palau de la Música Catalana, L´Auditori, National Theatre, etc.). Currently she is studying at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Volker Sprenger, and has the privilege to participate with the international project Musethica promoted by Avri Levitan.
