Musethica at Zeist Music Days

 

Zeist Music Days is an annual international two-week chamber music festival in August. The festival activities take place in and around the Moravian Church in the historic surroundings of Zeist Castle. The festival has become a major cultural event that yearly receives rave reviews in the press. Concerts are often broadcast by Dutch classical Radio 4 and other European radio stations. Since 2008, Zeist Music Days has been under the artistic leadership of Alexander Pavlovsky, first violinist of the Jerusalem Quartet.

The festival consists of a series of concerts by internationally renowned ensembles, a fringe programme and an extensive young talent development programme. The talent development programme consists of daily masterclasses by leading musicians who also perform at out festival, a tour in order to provide our students with stage experience and the adoption and coaching of a youngsters quartet.

Zeist Music Days will broaden their talent development with the introduction of Musethica to this festival.
