About Isabelle Bania
Isabelle (born 1989) grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden. She has studied in Denmark at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Serguei Azizian, and in Berlin at Universität der Künste. In Berlin she also did a two-year orchestra academy with Rundfunk Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin.
She is currently studying at the soloist program in Copenhagen with Eszter Haffner, where she also has the opportunity to play on a Stradivarius from 1716 during the time of her studies. She is most happy playing chamber music, both on violin and viola. Since 2017 she is a member of Berolina Ensemble, who performs and records works from lesser known composers of the romantic and classical period.
